QUESTION: Legal battles and legislation re: lead in Australia,
01 Sep 2003, Queensland Australia
Hi, I'm wondering if you can help me? I'm a student at the University of Queensland doing an assignment on whether or not lead should be used today. I'm wondering if you know of any major legal battles in Australia or anywhere for that matter concerning lead or any Australian legislation concerning lead. If you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. Rob Pattearson |

Dear Rob, It would narrow down the answer quite considerably if you could tell me what you are studying and exactly what the question is. Lead has hundreds of uses and it would be fanciful to eliminate all of them. Are you studying law, environmental science, politics? It sounds like an excellent topic - did you make it up yourself?
