At 10.30 this morning members of the Poisoned Rosebery Residents Group will be protesting in  Hobart outside the Department of Health and Human Services at 25 Argyle Street.  

They are calling on The Director of Health, Dr Roscoe Taylor to quash the findings of the Final Report from the investigation into toxic contamination in Rosebery.

The group considers there are two grounds for withdrawal of the report. 

Failure to establish results from medical examinations of residents  

failure to conduct any Geo hydrological testing.

In addition the resident’s group will be requesting the Ombudsman to conduct a thorough investigation into their concerns about the procedures used during the investigation.
