Biden Administration leads the world on lead-safety

I really hope Nelson Mandela is right when he says “it
always seems impossible until it is done”, because the
rest of the world – especially Australia which exports
more lead than any other country and approves every
new lead mine apparently out of habit, and the United
Kingdom which has way better climate policy than its
lead policy – is impossibly behind the USA when it
comes to lead-safety regulations and policy.
I was heartened to read when preparing the Roger
Green Obituary in this issue, that some environmental
protection campaigns are resoundingly successful.
