Ceiling dust proposals from The LEAD Group Inc. part 1That the NSW WorkCover Authority: Set a policy that ceiling dust must be vacuumed using appropriately rated HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filtered equipment prior to planned (or predictable) activities which will disturb and disperse the dust such as ceiling demolition (or ceiling collapse following damage), insulation replacement or installation, roof replacement (or roof breaches or collapse following damage), installation or repair of any component which requires cutting of the ceiling (for example skylights, light fittings, ceiling fans or ceiling roses), and the conversion of the ceiling cavity into attic or storage space.
