QUESTION: Long term risks of leadlighting and precautions you can take.
31 Jul 2004,
Tasmania Australia
I am a self taught Leadlighter of 9 years and am becoming more and more busy all the time producing windows for modern/newly built houses/old houses and repair work or complete reconstruction of old leadlight panels. I am the only person of this trade in my town, and would like to know the long term risks of this trade (if any) and precautions that could be taken or anything really that will protect me from the harm of lead in my system. I would also like to know a little about the substance and what it does once in your system or body and we also get it out of our bodies? Please could you supply any of your knowledge or information.
Kind regards |
